This team has the most comprehensive converage of today's topic. The team has used the 4 theories to explain the motivation of employees which was a very good ideas and no other team has thought of. Most of you are very confident in your presentation and has handled the the Q&A very well. The explanation of redunduncy plan could have been better handled. Praise and compliment have certain limits and after that they will lose their effect if praise is not follow up by rewards.
Comments for Individual: Your particpation in the PDT and worksheet was good. I always look at these areas and guage the level of interest and effort of the student put into this module. You could have been more active today during my Q&A session. You need prompting from me before you participate in the Q&A. The presentation on the conditions of a good working environment has both intrinic and extrinsic factors which you did not mentioned. I hope you realised this point. You have reflected the importance of HRM and its relationship to businesses. But you should also realised that there are other factors that affect the success of a business.
RJ: Question: What is the most important thing that you have learnt from today lesson and why?
Response: The most important thing that I have learned from today’s lesson is being able to understand the importance of knowing the functions within HRM, its relationship to the organisational strategy of a company, the roles that HR plays when operating a business and some of the factors that might affect the HR practices in an organisation. The reason to why I say it is important because, HRM plays an important role in determining the success if an organisation. In order to achieve this, HR Managers have to develop a consistent, aligned collection of practices, programs and policies to facilitate the achievement of the organisation’s corporate strategy. On the other hand, inappropriate HRM practices can too lead to many negative consequences for the organisation. Therefore when deciding the type of HRM policies to use, one have to be extra careful such that it won’t result in bad HRM practice as this may cause the organisation to suffer loss. Lastly, is to put the HRM policies into practices and revise it frequently as from time to time, influence form external factor may cause HRM policies to become not so practical for that particular period of time.
STUPID SHIT!!! DON'T EVER ASSUME THAT WHAT YOU THINK IS GOOD FOR OTHERS IS DEFINITELY GOOD!! why do i have this feeling that you are doing this on purpose???
